Referencing my Grandad’s photographs from the 1970’s, I have examined the themes of ‘colour’ and ‘artefacts’. Inspired by his time as a mature student at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design, I have created this intuitive artwork exploring abstraction, shape, and layering.
